FOOD SHOW: ‘Live to Eat’ – #StreetFood Trolls & Tinderboxes
The Street Food movement in the UK is gathering momentum with street food traders and events popping up all over the country, so I decided to have a chat with those who have bitten the bullet and set up trading outside the buzz of London Town.
I spoke to Rich & Katie Matthews with their cute as a button 1930’s teardrop trailer, The Tinderbox or ‘Cowslip’ to her mates, a Troll in Brighton that tries to lure you in with his stinky breath at The Trolls Pantry….and way out west, well Swansea and former soldier Karl Francis, who dishes out Philly cheese steaks from The Munchbox to the people of South Wales.
Finally, a great catch up with the man behind the ‘revolution’, award winning journalist & broadcaster, Richard Johnson, with updates on what’s happening with street food in the UK & further afield, plus this years British Street Food Awards and a new #StreetFood app.
