Big Icy Balls – Making Baileys Cool
Posted On 17th December 2013
On my arrival back to Foster City, California from the UK, the other half excitedly told me that he’d got me a present from Williams-Sonoma …in truth he’d got himself a present. Ice Sphere Moulds!
They are in fact really rather cool (ahem…I know). They are designed to create 2.5″ uniform balls (steady!) of ice that melt slowly and evenly so the drink stays well chilled and not water them down.
Having been awake for nearly 24 hrs I decided to try one of these bad boys out with a glass of Baileys and I love ’em.
You can see the ice sphere below being ‘expertly’ demonstrated.
By the way I am not drunk, just very, VERY, tired (honest).
